Review:
I really enjoyed reading this book. I wished there was a bit more about the other characters because I had my favorites and just wanted more background on each.
It was a page-turner and it explored every level of sexuality. I believe anyone could relate. It was exciting and subtle at the same time. I laughed, I screamed, I got angry, I cried....it was an awesome book.
Lailani, the self-proclaimed fashionista as described, was to me, the mother of her four friends. She seemed to be the most levelheaded. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for the women she loved. She proved that in one of my favorite scenes when she gets a certain someone “together.” I won’t spoil it. Just know that you will be applauding her.
Davina, Essence, and Autumn were added bonuses. We needed them to see who Lailani truly was. These women were her family. I understood why Lailani wanted to break away from the circle, but how she would leave her sexy love-interest behind is puzzling to me. Her crazy ex-girlfriend made for good entertainment and so did a few other pop-ups in the book. There isn’t much that I can say without giving much away. Therefore, I’ll just say I enjoyed every word strung together.
There were editing and formatting issues, but it was a great story. I hope there is a part two. I'd recommend it to other readers.
