A hot crime-driven lesbian web series about a group of con artists.
This series has proved to be a huge disappointment and not for the reasons you’re thinking. It had an amazing plot, great actors, and professional production and editing. Unfortunately, the runtime is never over seven minutes and the episode were released in such large gaps, that views would forget what happened in the previous one.
The director/ writer of the show, Tramaine Renee had no problem replying to the complaining of her web series, saying things like, “yall would make an insecure mothafucka wanna kill themselves for takin a chance to do somethin different. so glad i dont have that problem. if u dont like it, thats cool. theres plenty of other shows for u to watch! for everyone else who likes this shit, thank you!”
WHOA! Calm down.
All the way up to the finale, Renee makes it clear that she isn’t the most pleasant. I’m not sure if we should be looking forward to a season two or not if these are the words we have to go on, “Y’all want a season 2 but how many of y’all have actually shared or reposted this video?”
I did, Ms. Renee, I did.
Aside from the writer/director’s slick mouth, she actually managed to put together something of quality. In episode one: Friendly Reminders, we’re instantly sucked in the moment that “Sunny,” played by Blaxx Casanova is punched hard across her left cheek. Apparently, Mr. Creepy Woman Beater is looking for “Reign” another main character played by Kream Stalleion—and a stallion she is as she graces us with those beautiful features at the 1:22 mark of the episode. It’s obvious that she is bad news from the hostility that Sunny shows when she takes her seat. It’s hard to believe that such a breathtaking beauty could be that terrible but we’re proved wrong when its revealed that she swiped Sunny’s wallet while hugging her. Sunny is forced to play the old games that she played when she and Reign were once an item. We’re taken through the six steps of the Wallet Waitress Scam. Please don’t try this at home kids. And just in case you were wondering, that is very much so a misspelled word at step six: Hall ASS!!! We know she meant haul, but it’s just entertaining to poke fun at a director who so openly cusses out anybody who has something negative to say about her work.
I agree that it takes a hell of a lot to create a web series and I also understand that artist are sentitve about their s***, but Ms. Renee, we have got to work on our delivery. Haters need no recongnition. You can’t control how others will feel about your creativity, but you can control how you react or don’t react to it.
But even with all the chaos, I'd recommend this series. It's original and fast-paced. It strays away from those same, old storylines that lesbians love so much. You know the ones: cheating, lying, fighting, crying, undercover bisexuals, and all that jazz.
Before I go, may I please asked why we killed Sunny though? What's Sunny Reign without Sunny? Inquiring minds would like to know.
